I spent a few days in Buenos Aires, and as I have been there before, this time I could sharpen my smell and taste in aromatic and gastronomic places. Argentina is still one of the best places in the world to eat meat, and going to places filled with aromas that stir one’s senses was amazing.

I will talk about the local cuisine in another post. Today I will write about a place that made me feel good, as if I was not in a big capital at all. In a large extension of green area that goes from Recoleta to Palermo, you can have fun, play sports, relax or enjoy some quiet time together with your girl/boyfriend.

Among the Japanese Garden (Jardín Japonés), the Zoo and February 3 Park (Parque 3 de Febrero) there is Rosedal, a huge garden that displays several species of roses and lavenders. There are over 10 thousand flowers in flowerbeds around a lake, one more scented than the other. It was spring time, which made the tour even better, with more intense colors and aromas.

In this large green area, on the way to Las Canitas there is Paseo de La Infanta, the Polo Field, the Racetrack and the Golf Course. In the neighborhood of Palermo there is the Rural Society (Sociedad Rural Argentina) and the Botanical Garden.
