Sydney Aquarium was the most interesting I have ever been to. A rare opportunity to see sharks and lethal jellyfish in their habitat without being noticed.
Being thristy at Rome ended with a surprising view: appreciating the Coliseum through a street vendor sight. Looking at this world heritage from this perspective was such a priviliege as well as watching part of the daily routine of someone who spent his days among so much beauty and history.
A beautiful hot sunny day in Camboriú, Santa Catarina. Tourists from all over the world enjoying the beach when all of a sudden the peace was broken by this friendly crab. A little lost and scared, it ran on the sand while I prepared the camera. After some attempts it finally stood still, as if it knew I wanted to take a picture. And it ran away, till it found shelter in the backpack of an Argentinian family, who took care of it for the rest of the day.
The paradise with clear blue water and white sand on the pictures is Los Roques, Venezuela.
Rio Preto is among the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen in Brazil. This view was a gift after a long and hot trekking by Janela trail, in Chapada dos Veadeiros. I could see the path taken by the river until go down on Garimpão Waterfall and crashed on 120 meters Cliff.
A huge amount of tourists crowded in groups wherever we were. And that was the main impression I had of Prague: an over the top tourist place.
The biggest tourist destination in Gold Coast is completely different from what I expected. This was the last stop I planned for my backpacking in Australia, and time ended up being short for previous research. Known for its beautiful beaches and surf, I believed it would be perfect to relax, after busy days in Sydney.
An unforgettable moment of Mount Roraima trekking was this landscape at base camping. Between Mount Roraima and Kukenán (the background mountain) there is humid forest. From the forest grows a cloud that cover the sky when the night comes. For some minutes the cloud was following the same golden line on the horizon. We all hope that could be a great sunset, but in seconds the cloud covered the sun and brought a storm.
The image from this week is a tribute to the city I chose to live since 2008. São Paulo is loved and hated at the same time from its residents. But anyone who spends a season there can’t stay away for longer. The Latin America’s biggest city is celebrating today 459 years old.
Itineraries to know the culture and history of Aguascalientes.
