In ten days around Kenya I visited three national parks and a marine park, besides the famous Diani Beach and Nairobi. I made the video below to give you some ideas.

On top of the lost world I found the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen in my life. Buques, mandalas, weather-beaten trees, the noise of running water, crystals sprouting, flowers blooming in the rocks, sandy and muddy winding paths, puddles and rocks full of meaning.

Before arrive in Kenya I’d found a photo from giraffe’s silhouette against the sun at Pinterest. That image inspired me to search the same scenario then I asked Rafael (guide from Olare Mara Kempinski) to help me with this task. It was our Safari last day and no sign of giraffes in the evening… but on time Rafael said: look your giraffe! Everyone in the car became excited and started shooting but it was hidden between trees. Then Rafael moved the car to force the animal to change its position and it worked. Teamwork for the perfect shoot.
As said in amazon legend Naiá fall in love with Jaci (the moon) and get out it every night with hope of being transformed into a star and live forever by its side. She rejected the affection from bravest warriors and continued every day running for Jaci in the jungle. Being always ignored she got sick but one day she got so happy noticing the moon reflection in water that threw herself and drowned.
Aguascalientes, already subject of a post here, is well-known in Mexico for hosting the largest folk and cultural event in the country, the SAN MARCOS FAIR (FERIA DE SAN MARCOS). During three weeks between April and May, the city goes through a makeover to welcome over 7 million visitors, in existing or specially-built places for the event which has been taking place for more than 180 years.

If you do not live on the coast, you immediately visualize parties and beaches when you think about tourism in Rio de Janeiro, right? At least that is the first thing that comes to my mind; thank God for my traveler’s curiosity and the Travelers Meetings.
