On a lazy Sunday, I was invited to go to a Buddhist temple and enjoy a vegetarian lunch. After a few hours lost in São Paulo, we arrived in Cotia, in the ZU LAI TEMPLE. The 30 km should be fast, but getting out of this metropolis is no easy task.
I got a long holiday to know the historical cities of Minas Gerais. I spent only an afternoon and two nights in Belo Horizonte, but that was enough to get the idea and make me want to go back for more. Like any other, the third largest capital in the country has a lot to offer.

When I was in Rio de Janeiro I visited Parque das Ruínas, located in one of the most beautiful place of Santa Teresa neighborhood. Over there is one of the best views in Rio mainly from downtown and Pão de Açúcar. It’s a very interesting place worth visiting.

I have been to Vitória on the last holiday, but I didn’t know what to do until I got good tips from local taxi drivers. One of them took me to Fonte Grande Park, where I saw the city from its highest point. Upon a arrival welcome surprise: some white-faced marmosets were there. The Banespa building (Altino Arantes Building) has over 50 years of history. Today belongs to another bank and it is a must see for those visiting São Paulo. And best of all: the ride is free.
