One of the African symbols Baobab is consider the tree of life due support several animals. From bats that feed themselves on nectar of the flower to elephants seeking water inside its bulk; from man who eats its fruits to birds constructing their nest on its arms. The giant tree can reach 27 meters high for 7 meters in diameter and it can storage until 120 thousand litters of water. Quite common in Madagascar it is also found in savannah and at the coast. This one I found on south coast of Kenya and it was without leaves because of the dry season.
