Tierra Del Fuego is an archipelago in the southernmost tip of South America, formed by the main island an several small islands. It is separated from the continent by the Strait of Magellan and Cape Horn at the end. That is also the name of the park, because when the ships sailed they saw spots of light from the fire made by the Yámanas, the local residents in the 19thcentury.

In the hottest months of the year, Isla Martillo is the home of 2 species of penguins, Papúa and Magallánico. They come to reproduce, and the youngest ones to change their plumage. These young penguins are rather ugly and have missing feathers. The island is full of nests, which are holes in the sand surrounded by plants. I had never thought I could see so many penguins on a landscape like this.

A tribute to adventurous hikers who didn’t bother while waiting hours for another transportation when our bus caught fire in the middle of a wilderness road in Patagonia. On the contrary, we went to explore the place and have fun. In detail, there are 4 generations in this picture all of them with the same youthful spirit and very happy.

Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, is another place to have a good time at great hotels and restaurants – the tourists feel much welcome and there are lots of duty-free shops in the main street. The best thing is to have a little adventure in between.

Inhotim is where art and nature are in unique relation. An outdoor museum with more than 500 works of art and a botanic garden sharing the same space. It is a great place to spend the day, relax and admire works of art and observe nature. This Picture was taken while I was resting in a lake.

The famous circuit, which attracts adventurers from all over the world, consists of tracks that when plotted on a map, resemble the letter W. It was 76 km in four days – of all the trekking I have done in Patagonia, this one had the most beautiful view. You should pay attention to everything: flowers, lakes, rocks, mountains, ground and people who always run into you with a friendly ¡Hola! Most hikers are not young (aged between 30 and 60) and are able to carry the heavy backpack, besides walking for hours with a smile on their faces.

Almost 2 hours in the northeast direction from Hanoi is located one of Vietnam’s greatest treasures. Halong Bay, recently chosen as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. It’s not for less. More than 1,950 small islands are spread for more than 1,500 km² revealing limestone and karsts formations which contrast with the green of the vegetation and the sea. The ancient legend says that the gods, in an attempt to help the Vietnamese people against their enemies, sent a family of dragons which spat jewels in the sea which in the end became islands as a natural barrier against invaders from the sea. It’s simply incredible. Most of the time this region is under mist and rain but we were lucky and got open skies with no clouds allowed an amazing sunrise and sunset with colors only dictated by the skies.

In northern El Calafate you find Laguna Nimez; the city on one side and Lago Argentino on the other. What you can do fun here is take pictures, ride a bike, go horseback riding and go for a walk. You can go around the lagoon and along the lake.

In the 7 days before Easter happens the Tourism Week in Uruguay. A good time to know this country so different and hospitable. The photo shows the way to Cabo Polonio, a beach where only 4×4 trucks can drive above dunes.

After riding 4 km in Siem Reap’s flooded and dark streets during the night and some inconvenience when buying the tickets, finally, we reached Cambodia’s most precious attraction. Every year more than 2 million people come to this country and the majority of them don’t miss visiting the temples of Angkor Wat.
